My journey has taken me from the developed Green River Valley, to the rural Muckleshoot Prairie.  Then onward up the White River, to the forested Cascade Mountains. Then traveled back down the mountain, through the Puyallup River valley, to the Puget Sound. All my senses have indulged in the life cycles surrounding me.

I have gained a deeper appreciation for the Native American people and their traditional ecological knowledge.  As well come to honor and value their resilience to assimilation.

I have found that everything is interconnected, thus there is a great need to ensure we are making sound and just decisions that take into account the well being of all people, the impact on the environment, while striving towards a growing economy.

I am a forever student!
